Showcase

The Lobby will be home to some fascinating innovations.
Showcased at World XR: Spot the robot dog (or Tschuppi as he is known in Valais)

Discover Spot (or Tschuppi as he is called in Valais), one of the world’s most developed robots. He will be on show thanks to Workshop4.

Showcased at World XR: Birdly

Experience Birdly, the virtual reality flying simulator developed by Somnias AG and fulfil your ultimate dream of flying like a bird and diving into fantastic worlds beyond reality. Birdly was recently flown over 2800 times at the World XR Virtual Travel Lounge in Crans-Montana.

Exposition at World XR: Citroen Ami

In 2020, with Ami – 100% ëlectric, the Citroën Brand, with more than 100 years of history and non-conformist iconic vehicles, intends to unleash urban mobility for all. Citroën’s DNA is about innovation with bold, unexpected solutions, and products or services inspired by the largest number of people.

As a direct descendant of AMI ONE Concept introduced at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2019 and following the strong interest it generated, Ami has become reality in barely a year. Ami is a practical response to new mobility expectations for short journeys: enabling easier access to city centers, finding micro-mobility means for everyone, with real alternatives to scooters, bicycles, mopeds, public transportation at reasonable cost, developing new modes of consumption geared towards digital, and so on.

Ami – 100% ëlectric has no equivalent in the mobility landscape. Citroën unveils a truly disruptive 100% electric mobility experience, born from the desire to make it accessible and easy for everyone.

Showcased at World XR: DJI Digital FPV System

The DJI Digital FPV System was designed for the drone racing industry. It consists of the DJI FPV Air Unit Module, DJI FPV Camera, DJI FPV Goggles, and DJI FPV Remote Controller, all of which are packed with powerful features and serve a significant role in the development of the DJI HD Low Latency FPV system. DJI has redefined drone racing, delivering lower latency rates, stunning HD resolution, and, most importantly, an unforgettable FPV flying experience.

Showcased at World XR: Zoe

Discover Zoe, increasing learning impact through XR technologies. See how in just a few minutes you can create a virtual environment and bring it to life through an intuitive visual programming interface.

Showcased at World XR: An Domhan

AN DOMHAN is a Mixed Reality experience (Virtual and Augmented), adapted from the Irish legend “The tragic death of the children of Tuireann”. The project was developed through Research Creation methodology as part of the thesis “Comics and Mixed Reality, towards new spaces of narration” and serves to understand how narration is structured in mixed reality, or, in this case, in the combination of the media (VR + AR), committed spaces, place and impact of the body vis-à-vis the narration.

About the user experience: A VR user plays a character who will try to “relive” a quest. Another user embodies a different character in AR and in the same place and this second user will try to interfere in the journey of the first user.
